fall’s here. went to a football game today ; croton won! we’re doing really well this season. all of these photos were taken during or after the game.

The year is almost over, and I’m half-done with finals; today’s went really well. There were a few questions I know I got wrong on each, but for the most part, I’m pretty confident. Either way, it’s Friday, so I’ll need to be figuring out what I’m going to do tonight. Maybe stay around with friends, or go to Yorktown. I’m not sure.

This school year has been really, really good. It’s been great academically, but even better socially and in terms of things I’ve done. I went to a lot of shows, met a ton of new people, and spent more time than ever with friends. I plan to keep it that way, and the summer’s going to great. So far I have planned out that I’m seeing Moving Mountains, Rancid, Chris Garneau, Socratic, and Broken Social Scene at Siren Fest. And I’m hoping to see Death Before Dishonor. Hopefully I”ll be working as a photographers asistant.

So lots of shows, and we’ll see how things play out. This sounds good.

i’ve been waiting so long to get out of westchester, and even though there’s a decent amount of time left here, it isn’t been as far away as i’d been thinking. i guess my mind was still stuck in a few years ago. there’s so much future left, and i can’t wait to start moving. i’m not letting anything get in my way, or bring me down. and i feel bad about it, but i’m going to be dropping some friends along the way because i know they’ll only be dragging me down, whether or not they’re doing it intentionally. i still know i’ll always have friends who will be there for me, and have my back, and there’s a lot of comfort in that. there’s so much more than here. here is made and nail salons and senior classes with 90 people, and everyone in everyone else’s business. there’s much better things that i’m going to get myself. i’m putting myself in a existentialistic mindset because i know there aren’t any handouts in life – i’m going to get this myself, and i can’t wait.

So I’m going to make an effort to turn this into an active blog. My main subject will be music, but I will also post about art, photography, animal rights, human rights issues, social issues, politics, and funny stories. In terms of music, I’ll post album reviews, live performance reviews, and look back on old bands.

We’ll see how it goes.
